ABOUT FOUNDER.

Kwaku Duodu-Kumi is the Founder and Executive Director of

C4i Africa Ltd , a Ghana-based strategic business development and market access firm connecting investors, corporations and institutions with credible opportunities across Ghana, West Africa and the wider African continent.

His career spans more than four decades at the intersection of private enterprise, international trade and public-sector diplomacy. A graduate from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST),he built his early business credentials in the 1980s and successfully worked the Ghanaian market in partnership with Cargill's Minneapolis and Geneva offices, one of the world's foremost agribusiness and commodity trading organisations.

Those years established an operational understanding of commodity origination, supply-chain logistics and international commercial standards that informs C4i Africa's work today.

In the 1990s and early 2000s, Mr. Duodu-Kumi extended his reach into telecommunications and data infrastructure, working with US carriers SPRINT and Global One to develop the international calling and data markets across Ghana and West Africa - a forward-looking engagement at the dawn of Africa's connectivity era.

One of the defining chapters of his career came in 1998, when he was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Türkiye in Ghana by President Süleyman Demirel - an appointment subequently renewed by President John Dramani Mahama in 2012.

Over twenty years in that role, Mr. Duodu-Kumi served as a bridge between two nations, their governments and their business communities. Under his watch, Ghana-Türkiye bilateral trade grew from USD 4.3 million in 1996 to a peak of USD 600 million in 2012 -a transformation that stands as one of the most significant bilateral trade expansions between Ghana and a non-traditional partner in that era.

He retired from the Consular role on 31 December 2018 and channelled that network and experience into founding C4i Africa Ltd - a platform built on the conviction that Africa's next generation of growth will be driven by credible local execution, strategic relationships and institutional trust.
